man you are incredible, i admire you how do you imagine and create armor, and i love this "old" paper look, this is simple perfect.. i was always addict for drawing and illustrations but this is style i LOVE .. KEEP posting stuff like this!

If only the tengwar said something sensible...

It's a very nice drawing otherwise (although I don't think an upturned nose fits Fingolfin, but that might just be me).

Yes! I think I put tengwar only as decoration... or maybe I write something with no sense, I don't remember... was so many years ago ;)

About the nose, maybe you're right. But it was an engraving and when I grave the nose there was no way back. At the end, I liked the final result

The tengwar look like you just typed a text and changed the font, but since tengwar fonts have very different key bindings from what the standard keyboard does, the result is gibberish.

For future reference, if you're interested in writing tengwar that make sense, there are tools that can transcribe texts. One of them is called, predictably, "Yet another Tengwar Tool" or YaTT.

me alegra q hayas subido este dibujo de fingolfin, para mi, el más grande de los elfos del silmarillion.
es muy probable q cuando comentara tu dibujo de fingon, estuviera buscando dibujos de fingolfin.
ahora, a lo q te importa (q no es todo lo anterior). muy buenos todos los detalles de la armadura y la espada. ¿xq de perfil?

¡Hola!
Fingolfin también es uno de mis personajes del Silmarillion. Probablemente de haber sobrevivido más tiempo su influencia hubiera sido inmensa en los acontecimientos posteriores.
¿Que por qué de perfil? Bueno, si te digo la verdad, fue el primer grabado en metacrilato que hice en mi vida. Grabando con punzón no hay lugar a correcciones, por lo que debe uno intentar fallar lo menos posible. Y bueno, era el primero, y de perfil es menos probable cagarla en una cara, más si lleva el casco... esa es la razón ;)

ah, ya entiendo. muy buenos motivos, veo.
hubiera sido muy influente, si. pero el relato de su pelea final y, subsiguiente, muerte son de lo mejor del libro; son gran parte del atractivo del personaje.
de nada.
