Daenerys Targaryen and Drogon by Feliche Daenerys Targaryen and Drogon by Feliche
Daenerys Targaryen and Drogon, as Khal Jhaqo founds them. From George R.R. Martin's novel saga 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.

A quick draw I made last year, just after finish 'A Dance with Dragons' read. I thought it's a very powerful scene. Seein' it now... I don't like so much, so I think I'll do this scene again in the future.

PD: Of course, it's a 4-leg dragon.

He is the best of them - one of my favourite scenes in the TV series was Drogon burning a
Prison Guard to Ashes - I was asked once - "What do dragons eat" my reply was "What ever they FANCY"
Are you happy Feliche - In Italian  that means happy  - excuse me - just a thought

I like it! I love Drogon, he's huge and monstrous, just as described :D
One detail though: wasn't Dany's hair burnt? :S

Yeah, she should've been bald, again.

I'm glad I remember correctly. It's ok, few people have drawn a bald Dany

Can you do one where Khal Jhaqo and his bloodriders go splat? I imagine that's what's coming next.

Very powerful scene in the book, "finding herself" and stuff :)

But I would add more blood dripping from Drogon mouths and more blood on Daenerys too (on here hands and around her mouth), because Jhaqo found them eating the horses corpse, I mean they were eating it and then they saw Jhaqo and the Bloodriders, right? And you did great with that "its mine corse" look on Drogon's face :D smoke is mandatory cause he did fry that horse nicely for Daenerys and him, hi hi hi... Protective stance and high grass are nice details too, all in all, POWERFUL!

how does it fit the book better when the books clearly state the dragons HAVE 2 LEGS?

sorry, I've read the Hungarian translation... mine says 4 legs in Game of Thrones pg. 872- probably a mistake, it wouldn't be the first one in the series

Any reason on why you chose four legs?

Umhhh, actually I like the 4-leg dragons, but I don't know why. Since I was a child, I've imagined them so. I grew with the first editions of D&D, Tolkien books, Dragonlance (now i can´t with it), the art of people like Larry Elmore and Jeff Easley, etc. and there was 4 legged dragons everywhere. So I loved them.

Talking about this whith friends, I agree that maybe the 4 legs seems to suit more with "intelligent dragons", you know, dragons who talk, think, make riddles, and even cast spells. Something like Smaug. And the dragons with 2 legs seems more beast-like, more like an animal than a really intelligent being. So in this case it seems that it would be better to do 2 legged ones. I'll see ^^

Maybe I think that a well proportioned 4 leg dragon seems to me an infinitely more powerful and impressive creature than a 2 legged one. But... I reallu don't know!! ^^

This is killer awesome. Drogon looks almost like a protective sonand Dany is just Dany, which means ready to whoop someone dragon style. :D

Same here. That and the chapter where Jon gets stabbed are two cliffhangers I'm dying to read about. (Jon ain't dead, I know that much. If he is, Martin better prepare for a beat down.)
